Introduction

 

In terms of core performance parameters, the VMC1370 demonstrates strong machining capabilities: X/Y/Z axis travels reach 1300mm, 700mm, and 700mm, respectively. Coupled with a 1400×700mm worktable and a maximum load capacity of 1000kg, 3 axis machining center can easily handle large-scale workpiece machining. The spindle, manufactured by a professional Taiwanese supplier, utilizes BT40/φ150 specifications and is equipped with P4-grade dedicated spindle bearings. It maintains high rigidity and precision at a maximum speed of 8000rpm, supports stepless speed regulation, and delivers high torque at low speeds, making it suitable for deep cutting and large-diameter hole machining. Positioning accuracy reaches 0.02mm and repeatability is 0.015mm. Combined with a three-axis rapid traverse speed of 24000mm/min, it achieves a balanced balance of machining precision and efficiency.

The VMC1370's structural design prioritizes stability. Major components, including the bed, worktable, and saddle, are constructed from high-strength cast iron from Yunnan province. These components undergo resin sand molding and two aging treatments to eliminate internal stresses. Optimized through SW 3D modeling and Ansys finite element analysis, they effectively suppress deformation and vibration caused by cutting forces. The drive system features high-specification guide and transmission components, including a 55mm-wide roller linear guide on the X-axis, dual 45mm-wide roller linear guides on the Y-axis, and a 55mm-wide roller linear guide on the Z-axis. The direct connection between the servo motor and a high-precision, long-lead ball screw ensures seamless transmission. The Z-axis servo motor also features an automatic braking function upon power failure, ensuring safe operation.

The VMC1370 combines practicality and flexibility in its functional configuration: 3 axis machining center offers optional cap-type or disc-type tool magazines. The disc-type tool magazine is positioned via a roller cam mechanism and paired with an ATC robotic arm for high-speed, silent tool changes. The cutting cooling system features a 0.4kW, 1.2bar high-flow cooling pump and a large-capacity water tank, and the spindle head cooling nozzles support switching between water and air cooling. A centralized automatic thin oil lubrication system provides metered lubrication to the guide rails and ball screw, extending component life. The entire machine utilizes a fully enclosed protective cover that meets safety standards, and the guide rails are equipped with protective covers to prevent the intrusion of chips and coolant.
