Introduction
The vertical turning and boring machine utilizes a dual-column support beam structure, offering strong rigidity and stability, capable of withstanding significant cutting forces and easily handling heavy workpiece machining. The column and base are integrally cast or welded, and aging treatment eliminates internal stresses, significantly reducing deformation during machining and ensuring reliable machining accuracy.
The vertical turning and boring machine demonstrates exceptional machining capabilities. With a maximum turning diameter of 6,300 mm, a maximum machining height of 4,000 mm, a worktable diameter of 5,700 mm, and a load capacity of up to 80 tons (≤12 rpm), it can meet the machining needs of large and heavy workpieces. During turning, the worktable speed ranges from 0.1-32 rpm, the main motor power is 110 kW, the maximum worktable torque is 200 kN.m, and the toolholder cutting forces are 50 kN and 40 kN, respectively. These tools efficiently complete external cylindrical, internal hole, thread, and face turning operations.
Milling capabilities are equally impressive, with a 31 kW milling spindle motor power and a continuously variable speed range of 20-2000 rpm. Using a 7:24 taper and a BT50 toolholder, the machine can precisely perform operations such as plane milling, groove milling, and contour milling, as well as drilling and tapping. The tool turret slide has a maximum stroke of 2000mm, a maximum horizontal stroke of -20 to 3550mm, a feed range of 0.1 to 1000mm/min, a rapid traverse speed of 3000mm/min, a maximum crosshead stroke of 3550mm, and a lifting speed of 350mm/min.
